Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) recently completed the 41X development.  This building is located at the corner of Exhibition Street and Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Australia.

It is a 21-storey five star Green Star commercial tower. AIA Victorian Chapter occupies the first five levels with the fit-out designed by Hassell.

Lighting design philosophy for the fit-out was to compliment the feature louver ceiling while creating a random effect with linear fluorescent luminaires re-emphasizing the angular and linear façade design. Lighting for the entry lobby comprises of vertical linear LED strips integrated into architectural features while lighting in the general areas comprised of randomly located ceiling-recessed linear fluorescent luminaires.
